Meet Attorney Andrea M. Beckford

Andrea M. Beckford, Esq., an Associate Attorney with Dunne, Dunne & Cohen, LLC predominately focuses her practice on civil litigation, specifically within the realm of personal injury.  Prior to joining Dunne, Dunne & Cohen, LLC, Andrea practiced on the defensive side of civil litigation disputes, including but not limited to insurance defense and the public-entity sector.  Additionally, Andrea was a Law Clerk of the Essex County Law Division.   

Andrea received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School (Newark) in 2019, as well as a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York wherein she majored in Psychology and minored in Legal Studies.  While attending Rutgers Law School, Andrea was an Articles Editor for the Women's Rights Law Reporter.  Towards that end, Andrea’s article, We Need Equal Cheers for Boys and Girls: How the Absence of Cheerleaders at Women's Sporting Events Is a Violation of Title IX, was published in Volume 26 of Tulane Law School's Sports Lawyers Journal.

Andrea is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar Association and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
